STRICTLY COME DANCING was back with a BANG! Every Saturday evening as of the 18th September, Strictly was back on BBC One and we could once more witness the dance floor divas shaking their socks off with their well chiseled Casanovas. It was the hit show that everyone was talking about and was packed to the hilt with glitz, and glamour, and ornate Latin and Ballroom wear. |

Each Strictly costume used was hand embellished with the much coveted CRYSTALLIZED™ – Swarovski Elements making each dress a truly individual masterpiece. Each week the celebrities were put through their paces with backbreaking Ballroom and Latin dance routines. Trained by their world renowned dance partners every week the contestants were expected to learn intricate dance steps from the Cha Cha Cha, to the Tango, Jive, or Viennese Waltz. The celebrities and their partners had to win the approval of the 4 judges; Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli, and previous Strictly Come Dancing champion, the fabulous Alesha Dixon, not to mention the TV audience. The hit show of the year was hosted by Tess Daly and B.A.F.T.A award-winning entertainer extraordinaire Bruce Forsyth (CBE). It's official! BBC Presenter, Chris Hollins has won Strictly Come Dancing 2009 in an epic dance off against Hollyoaks star, Ricky Whittle. With just four points between them, Chris Hollins wowed TV audiences ending his grand finale by jumping on top of the judges table. His dance partner, Ola Jordan described him as "the best partner... you've been a dream".
All the staff here in CHRISANNE would like to say well done to Chris and Ola for their well deserved victory!
